I'm in Finland now. I found a finnish unique feature in their faces. Sunken eyes. Especially men's eyes are remarkable. Why do they have sunken eyes? I guess sunken eyes inhibit the sun light from go into the eyes and protect the retina. Finland is one of the northeast country and it means that Finland is very near to the north pole. In such district the sunshine is stronger and contains more ultraviolet than the lower latitude districts. The stronger and more ultraviolet sunshine injure our retina which are the innermost part of our eyes and the only organ which sense lights. We accept most of information to live from our eyes, so our eyes are one of the most important organ to live. Then Finnish people have evolve to keep their eyes from being injured by such harmful sunshine, especially men because they tend to go out and receive more sunshine than women. Because of the reason, most of asian people have plane faces. So we live in the place free from the harmful sunshine.
Is this hypothesis true or not?
